| Dr. Todd S. Kaufmann, R.N., D.C., N.D. is
both a practicing chiropractor and director at the Hyperbaric Therapy Center of Marin
located in Corte Madera, CA. Before completing his studies at Life Chiropractic College West, he was a practicing registered nurse for thirteen years. This along with his background in holistic health, nutrition, and emergency nursing increased his awareness of the health needs of the community. His credentials in the holistic health include therapeutic touch, Reiki, and nutritional counseling. He is on the board of directors of a non-profit organization, Heart of Humanity, that is dedicated to providing health care to people of minority backgrounds who cannot afford alternative therapies and is an active participant in numerous charitable and civic organizations in the San Francisco bay area. Dr. Kaufmann is an international speaker and lecturer concerning his work with mild hyperbaric therapy. Currently, many in the alternative health field are viewing oxygen therapy and its use of HBOT as a leading edge in the holistic field. In the near future we are confident that HBOT will be a part of treating a far wider range of conditions than is currently being allowed in the allopathic medical field. In 1992, the city of Oakland presented Dr. Kaufmann with a certificate of appreciation for his participation as the ad hoc director of the disaster center during the 1991 Oakland Firestorm. |
